No doubt that in every company, team, and institution changes come. Some changes are good and some are bad and sometimes bad changes lead to progress when you least expect it. That has been the case lately with Branch Records. When all of our partners here at Branch realized that our growing families and increasing responsibilities were necessitating a change in our level of involvement at the label we all feared that the end was coming near. Though a lot of our artists were doing well and we had plenty of action at the studio and online our hearts were shifting to other things and we new a change had to come. As we explored how to end the label we realized that the label itself had become what we always dreamed of and we didn't even realize it. Branch Records was a group of artists and like minded individuals who were living life, making music, and sharing it with the world.
When we realized the good that was going on we decided to make a simple change in location, turn the corner, and continue on. So in the coming weeks Branch studios and the label offices will be relocating here in Panama City to a brand new studio space where we will all be in closer proximity. We are slowly discovering how things align together in life and because of that you are about to see a fresh life and momentum around Branch Records. Some of our artists will be moving on and others are staying as we have given them the option due to our open ended contract agreements with our artists.
